pcolette: to answer your question, yes. But the effect would be a loss of assist in applying pressure... if there are no leaks in the vacuum hoses then you could/should feel the pedal go down more easily.

what you are looking for is "Fuel Tank Slushing Compound" ask at your automotive paint store or google it started using it on motorcycles in the early 70's makes a plastic coating on the inside of the tank, pour in the whole quart, slop it around so it gets on everything, then pour it back...

BTW, this is a SRT8 with big brembo brakes and wide rubber and stiff polly suspension too, load leveling hitch, all gear rated for the tow. I stayed totally on the back roads, speed never exc...
