712 For Sale
Unfortunately the time has come to part ways. This 1973 Pinzgauer has been a blast for my family since 2012. She is in good condition with the flaws of a 1973 vehicle. Some random surface rust areas and some oil leaks, but nothing too severe. It has been garaged throughout my ownership and started u...

Thinking of selling my 1973 Pinzgauer 712
It is located on eastern Long Island New York. I would be asking $30k. It is in Good condition, but has a couple of leaks. It is driven once a week through Sept-June, then as a daily summer vehicle. Odometer states about 23k Kilos, but I’m not to sure of how accurate that is. I am the second owner ,...

Re: Starter trouble
Did this issue ever get rectified. I am having the same issue with my 712. IT will randomly take two or three button pushes to get the starter to work. It will just make the click sound. Othertimes, she works perfectly. I can't stand issues that happen periodically and are not constant

Great post..... Maybe you guys can help. My 712 isn't charging the batteries. She died on me, but luckily I was on a hill and power shifted it to start. Once started she ran until I turned the key off. I am guessing that the alteranator is working since I was able to drive once started. It just isn'...

Marvals Mystry Oil
I am by far no expert with these engines, but if you add some Marvels Mystery Oil to the gas, would that suffice for lubrication instead of the lead?

Insurance companies for 712M Pinz
Should be getting my first 712M in the next two weeks or so....
A lot of the insurance companies won't touch it. Does anyone know of a company that will? So far I have State Farm... Are there any others?

Critter- I agree with the airing down. It does help, but when I started driving the Tacomas on the sand, I noticed that they drove just as well without airing down when medium size mud tires are put on them. They seem to create minimum ruts and have great traction. I think it is mostly about the Kum...
