I successfully installed the new drop link on the weekend.With the pyramid cover removed it was a lot easier.I popped the top ball joint on with a 'G' clamp and then held the bottom of the link with a spanner on the lock nut to stop it turning while I poppped the bottom joint on the ball with a larg...

Gearbox drop link
Has anyone replaced a gear change link (with a ball joint each end) which is attached to the gearbox.Do the ball joints just snap on? There is not much room under the Pinz. Do I have to pull things apart?
Is there a trick to it and does it require a bit of grease?

Does anyone know if the brakelight switch from a 700APT Haflinger would fit a 710M Pinzgauer and is there a problem using 12V instead of 24V?

Brake pressure switch sticking on
My brake lights sometimes stay on when the brake pedal is released. Is there an after market switch that would do the job or does it have to be a genuine part? Would it be possible to fit without the need to bleed the brakes?
