Re: Jake Raby E.F.I. System for Sale - UNUSED - NEW PRICE!
The red parts are (red anodized) aluminum fuel injector bungs. I had them anodized to complement the Aeroquip hoses/fixtures I was planning on using for the install. The injectors mount directly into them. They look like they just hold the injector to the manifold - how does the fuel rail mount to ...

You can build a float level for very little money - I posted instructions on here some time ago but can't find the thread at the moment

Thanks guys....anyone with time to post some pics of these electrical connectors it would be appreciated...PCollete...if the carbs do need adjusting I would be a bit afraid to tear those apart would a local shop be able to handle that or should I send them to EI for a rebuild? Re: dehumidifier in a 710K
It's not going to hurt the vehicle. Mine has big gaps in the door seals and there are vents in the footwells but if it's working for you then that's good!
I just wish I had mine in a driveable state...

Re: 710k running like crap
If you are not using the manual choke then it sounds like it's running rich and fouling the plugs.
You could try checking the float levels in the carbs or (gently!) adjusting the idle mixture screws. Are the choke levers in the correct (i.e. forward/closed) position?

Re: dehumidifier in a 710K
If the gaps in your Pinz are anything like mine, I'd be worried that you'd be trying to dehumidify the wider environment (and in Scotland, you're going to have a job!). Give it a go and see what happens - the heat given out will probably help reduce condensation too but unless the inside is insulate...

Great looking manifold/plenum - does it come with a fuel rail? If not, how does that attach to the injectors?

Re: Transmission Removal
It's quite light. If I were you, once the access panel is removed, put a piece of wood across with a strap round it to take the weight when you remove it.
