So the vector springs are on, vast improvement and a fairly straight forward job.

Thanks to everyone for input.
I can source replacement from a vector from Dale (and John) at Haflinger technic.
I just wondered if there was another way...

Anyone know of an alternative part number to source replacement springs for the leaf springs a the rear of the 718 ambulance ???

I'm guessing the parts must be from Mercedes or VW heavy type vans????
