Jim LaGuardia at Goatwerks in California. He has done a few sets for me and they have always come back perfect.

Re: Exhaust Pipe Flex
SAV used to sell the body sealant tape and I recall it was closer to 1/16" thick but was firmer and less compressible.

Re: shifter linkage retaining ring
Hi Ron, I dug through my old parts but can only find the clips that came with the S-Tec kit sold by SAV - the ones that won't stay on. I think I bought some clips that worked from McMaster similar to these: https://www.mcmaster.com/products/retaining-rings/system-of-measurement~metric/low-clearance-...

Re: shifter linkage retaining ring
The original retaining rings are a 2-piece item that interlock with each other to create a complete ring. I have searched but they seem to be no longer available. The clips provided with the "kit" really do not hold well. I've rebuilt 2-3 of these and found some better clips that would sta...

Re: How to remove springs from distributor
If I remember correctly, you will need to remove the distributor from the engine and then carefully remove the spring and then the pin that holds the drive cog to the bottom of the shaft. You should then be able to remove the entire shaft assembly from the distributor housing and will have access to...

Re: Starter sometimes fails to engage
Sorry, I was away for a few days, but one hint I found helpful was to remove the steel panel in the rear of the passenger side front wheel well to gain a bit more access. The panel has I recall 2 bolts that screw into captive nuts toward the rear and 2 more bolts along the front edge that clamp anot...

Re: Pinz SSI stopped working
Yes, that photo is one of the 3 or 4 SSI's I installed. That one is from 12/2013 and is a modified/updated Version 1 that I had been working on with Rick to improve overall reliability and performance. I had no problems with it other than a couple that I caused (SMH!). It did have the relay. Power w...

$30.00 for the pair plus shipping ? I really don't want to just toss them but have no foreseeable use for them.

Try Expedition Imports. They used to rent specialized tools. Possibly also try Andre at Fat Fabrications.

(2) Whelen Rotating Beacon Lights - Not LED 1 #RB6P 12 volt Blue 1 #RB6T 24 volt Amber, Mil-Spec New old stock, tested but never mounted. They show the usual signs of storage ie: minor scuffs. I have videos of them operating but the files are too big to post. I'd sell seperately or as a pair. Make m...

Re: FS: Pinz Brake Fluid Reservoir - New Ver. II
Good Morning! Yes they are interchangeable. I had the original unit in mine but it had accumulated so much nasty crud in it and one of the caps had cracked so when I replaced it (5+ years ago) I used the version 2. No modifications needed to install. Benefits are availability and about 1/4 the cost ...
