I too have a GL M718. The vin is VAG71831110000171. I am hoping to pin down the exact year of manufacture to properly title. I have received my plates & reg, but the title dept requested a vin verification. I would like to get this right the first tme so an help would be great. I drove the truck...

I have also purchased a 718m from GL. It is a 2001 P90. It runs and drives excellent. I am interested to meet fellow Pinzie owners in the New Hampshire USA area. I will post photos soon. I am a lifelong vw-porsche-audi mechanic and found the 718m to be very familiar albeit larger!
