Re: What is a stock 710 worth?
Wow, it's still alive! It looks like Howie's old 710M. I seem to recall putting it all in working order before it left Ca for Texas to live on a ranch 8) Good running truck, glad to see it still around. It just moved to another ranch and will have some belt fed machine guns mounted on it....

8 K.
I wouldn't pay any thing more than 12 K for a 710 unless it was factory refurbished or NOS.

Re: Seat Option
I have a pair of these in my '73. http://www.seatsinc.com/ngp/!slmenu_template.main?complex_id_in=272.8132.8011.8553.cat TuffTex fabric, headrests, no armrests. The seat bottoms are higher than stock so it does raise your seating position. Width worked out fine on the driver side and was snug but d...

Re: Split boot replacement - looking for the dos and don't
I just got some split boots from SAV and can't for the life of me figure out the clamp. The tightening device is separate from the band and I can see how 1 side would match up with the barbs but not the other side? Does it go through the slit from top or bottom? any help would be appreciated and ma...

Re: Starter grinding
My starter started grinding a couple of weeks after replacing it with the reduction starter. I replaced the mount yesterday. It had started to split between the rubber and steel allowing it to flex (just a little). I've started it like 3 times and no more grind so far.

Re: Air Intake bolt missing?
I found one of the cam bolts wedged up next to my starter while replacing it. It had the starter locked on and wouldn't budge.
Now I have an extra bolt. But anyways, screwing those two bolts on the clamp for the air intake is on of the most confounding things I have to do on my 710.

Re: Why ?
That black pinz rarely if ever moves, they just ruined it to make it into a rolling advert.
I googled the advertised company, if they are the same as the one out of California.Their reviews: LOL !

Why ?
Would anyone in Texas Rhino-line their whole truck black, it's not hot enough for them ? The dash and cowling is even coated.
