Re: WTB: 1980's Civilian G-Wagen

Congrats, Chris! I was eye-balling this very G-Wagen when it was posted on Bring-a Trailer: http://bringatrailer.com/2015/03/28/1983-mercedes-benz-280ge/ You've got yourself a beautiful classic "G" ... enjoy! BTW, you're missing the tow pin for the front bumper. Guido always has some good ...

SOLD: 1973 Pinzgauer 712M (Canada) CDN$ 16,500

SOLD: I need to make space for an inbound ex-Bundeswehr Mercedes G-wagen so my Pinz 712M needs to go. I'm located in Calgary, Alberta and the Pinz is registered for road use in Alberta. My asking price is CDN$ 16,500 so, what with the exchange rate between Canadian and US dollars, it's a genuine ba...

Re: WTB: Volvo C303 Hardtop or Pinzgauer 712M

Agreed, why so inexpensive?? That's a great price for what looks like a well cared 712! North of the 49th here, there's not much of a Pinzgauer following and virtually nobody the likes of Jim LaGuardia is here to hold a Pinz owner's hand. This is Eric Minnick's truck that I bought from him when he ...

Re: Turn signal woes

Thanks everyone for the diagnostic ideas and tips. Time to do some more troubleshooting with a VOM/test light and then likely some parts to order. I take it that the correct VW Type 2 signal light switch to order is part #211953513G. Has anyone installed one of these and, if so, how do the VW switch...

Re: Turn signal woes

The circuit breaker did pop (or trip) and I did reset it by pushing it in again. Do these circuit breakers fail (resetting it still leaves an open circuit)? I think it's safe to say there's a short somewhere; I just don't know if it's in the turn signal switch, the micro switch for the brake lights ...

Turn signal woes

Hi, My name is Arie and I'm new to this forum and Pinz ownership. My 712M is giving me grief with electrical problems in that I now don't have turn signals, brake lights or headlight hi-beams. When my turn signals went south, I had the steering at full lock and I saw a little arc flash down to left ...
