A pair of 36 NDIX carbs.
They are sound and all parts are present (except the little screen on too of the front one) but they need a rebuild. Or just buy them for parts. The rear one has play in the butterfly shaft.
See auction photos for jetting info.

SWPA Rug Road Run
The Southwest Pinzgauer Association is going to run the Rug Road on April 26-28. As always, all vehicles are welcome. The Rug Road is long, dusty and bumpy trail with moderate to semi-difficult sections. There is no bailout in the middle - you're pretty well committed after you leave Turkey Creek. H...

Re: 1971 Pinzgauer 710 M for sale in Phoenix, AZ
I just put it up on craigslist:

Darn, it looks so good cleaned up! Don't want to sell, but I bought a 712 and can't have both trucks around.

Re: Best off road GPS
Yup, I keep it continuously plugged in while using it.
Sometimes I've used it on my iPhone while hiking, you have to be careful to turn it off while not using it.
I'm thinking about getting one of those solar chargers that go on your backpack.

Re: Best off road GPS
If you have a smart phone or tablet, you might consider an app called MotionX GPS. You download the maps in advance (free) and you can use it even when there is no cell signal. It uses the GPS chip in the device to locate you. It is inexpensive, and if you use it for a while you will have a good ide...

Re: Interesting way to store front door tops
Hey - that's my truck. I stole that idea from Dave Boivin, another SWPA member. So far I'm pretty happy with it.
