Question on the BMC rebuild:

The last two seals. The ones just under the retaining clip. Which way do they face? That is, the open or wider side of the seals.

I received my new brake booster today from SAV, and in the process of replacing it, I find the original booster half filled with brake fluid. What a mess!

I'm assuming now that I need a master brake cylinder rebuild kit (??)

How many degrees past TDC would be a good starting point?

I still have not been able to pass emissions. I don't know what the issue is.

The State of Arizona is having me perform emission testing.
And I normally DO meet the required standards.

Spare bulbs, spark plugs and a voltage regulator, ignition coil, fan belt, and a couple of wheel lug nuts are a few of the things I carry...

Man you guys are smart. Didn't know about the H20 in the exhaust.

I've ordered a new cutoff valve, so we'll see if that makes any difference.
