Re: WATCH THE REAL 4x4s VIDEO -Episode one
Great job on the video! Also very cool to see Andre at work and home. Thanks for the video, and thanks Andre, once again, for the parts you fabricated for me over the past few years.

BN4 Heater issue, probably fuel pump, pls help troubleshoot!
Hi, I have been trying to get my gas heater running for a while now, and STILL haven't solved the issue. I can actually get the gas heater to run fine if I run fuel directy to the Fuel Proportioning Pump (i.e. "clicker" pump that provides a slow, metered amount of fuel to the heater, item ...
Re: Air ducts
It turns out I don't particularly care for the silver ducting because it will deform if pushed on, there is no inside wire to keep the circular profile (unlike the stock ducting). The black ducting is a bit better, but only due to the paper-like material rather than "tin foil" (still no in...
Re: Air ducts
Aircraft spruce sceet flexhoses for heater seem to be great, just installed it on my 710. One tip, if the exact size is not available, go slightly bigger rather than smaller, the wire cable compresses easily with a hose clamp to fit if slightly large but doesn't expand easily to fit if slightly smal...

Re: Engine Oil... Again
To finish what I started...
I ended up using Joe Gibbs DT50 synthetic high zinc air-cooled engine 15W50 engine oil, Mann W940/29 filter, Redline MT90 GL4 75w90 in transmission, Redline heavy shockproof gear oil 75w250 elsewhere.

Re: Backup Camera choices.
I chose the same one noted on an earlier pic on this thread, got it via costco online, works with 24v, has nice low-light resolution, also good wide angle. Overall happy with it. Painted the casing green to match.

Re: Fat Fabrications selling a great 710m
To clarify for those that were asking me - my 710K is NOT for sale, but it looks like the blue 710M here is. The winch bumper on my 710K was made by Andre, who was great to work with, and the bumper is awesome…

Re: Fat Fabrications selling a great 710m
Hey Andre, why is my truck in the pictures here (the first picture), for someone else's truck for sale? I assume it was a mistake…
You made the bumper and all, so no problem using the photo for that purpose, but the pic is confusing.
Thanks
Kevin

Great job! For color, I vote for that nice looking UN truck that was posted. Or for 1970's Toyota FJ40 desert tan, I love that color.

Updates... Andre Swanson (fatfabrications) made a nice winch bumper for me this past winter, really happy with it, pics attached. He is making a roof rack now... Thanks Andre! I switched out the tires and rims, got wider stock-pattern steel rims from ColdWarRemarketing, powdercoated etc, they are gr...
