I used to have a 1979 model BJ40 (3 litre 4 cylinder diesel) just like the red one years ago. Loved it.

I don't think much of the modern Jeep but that thing is atrocious. They must be either a pimp or a drug dealer.

3 litre 4 cylinder diesel with automatic gearbox, they seem to go alright. It's a pity that they are out of us meer mortals budget.

Hi Jgladman,
Try this site, they are the official auction site for ex military sales in Australia. https://www.australianfrontlinemachinery.com.au You should be able to find a unimog or 6x6 land rover here.

Gee, it's hard to say which one I like the most but I'm leaning towards the mog, great truck with lots of potential. It's a pity they are all left hand drive.
Lucky bastard.

Hi guys,
Here in Australia there are quite a few people using this system. http://www.hemamaps.com.au Mapping and it's own hardware/software system. Only heard good things about it but I don't think it's available for the USA.

Hi guys,
Here is an Australian version that has taken off quite well. I haven't bought one yet but the wife would like one for our camping kit some time. The link will give you all the details: http://www.dreampot.com.au .

Re: Cruiser pick-up
Takes me back a bit. I use to own a 1969 petrol 3 speed model like this as my first car back in 1980. Tough old trucks that could handle the Australian outback. Still doesn't mean you can't brake them or get them stuck though. Mine only cost me about $1500.

Gary,
I know, I was just being sarcastic. They probably wouldn't look at it agin till tonight. On another note I am refurbishing a Haflinger 700 up in Townsville, I might need to give you a call sometime for info.
