Gday, I've been a member for a while now so it's about time I introduced myself, so here goes, I've been a proud pinz owner for about 2 years now a civilian 712K, it just kinda fell into my lap. Originally I planned to just get it registered and go on a couple of small offroad outings and then move ...

Re: sl 3500 engine conversion

Hi John, Thanks, but I have since been in contact with Gumtree 4x4, the owner John Bowden has been most helpful, the people who supplied the kit to him was MD engineering, but they haven't got back to me yet, I suspect a phone call would yield better results though. I have just imported 2 c304's to Australia and the B30 just won't do, IMO it is just a bad engine especially in this application. Therefore I can't get them out fast enough for I don't want to waste any time or money on something that could only be average at best. Has anyone in the UK heard of Gumt...

lpg- cylinder head temps

Im interested in picking the brain of anybody who has been running lpg/ dual fuel for significant km's, my concerns are only minor but I am curious as to whether anyone has fitted a cyl head temp sensor for lpg or other. the very hard valves and seats in most aircooled engines should handle lpg just...

Re: Pinzi SSI

I would be interested in having multiple ignition curves 1 for petrol 1 lpg to make the most of slow burn characteristics of lpg more advance coming in earlier really brings lpg to life. I don't believe in multiple spark there is much research to show that there is no benefit after 1500 rpm and litt...

Re: 12 volt 712 -carby solenoids? any ideas

you are most likley correct but why the differences in sizes the solenoids are all stamped referring to the 3 holes, if the amount of fuel can be altered by different sizes is it possible that these solenoids do not only cut fuel off but also when open provide a measured percentage of total fuel rat...
