How much do they raise the seating position? I have to kind of slouch down to see under the windshield header at stop lights, etc. I would love to have some modern seats, but can’t afford to sit any higher...

I bought 2 of them. Just got them yesterday and haven't tried them yet.

When it's cold, mine comes on just above idle, but behaves normally once it warms up. Same problem?

Do you know if it clamps to that size tubing? If so, that's the ticket.
