I also removed the wires from the starter and re-connected them, just to be 100% sure that was not the issue.

No the wires are tight. After installing the starter, it turned the engine over. The ground strap was removed, cleaned with wire wheel as Part of installing the rebuilt starter. I had power, it turned the engine over.

My starter was frozen up, so I installed another starter, hit the button and engine turned over. So I put everything back together, clutch cylinder, dip stick and such, went to start it and no power? You might also check the sending unit. On mine the wires jumped track, sorta speak. It's a easy fix to put the wires back into place. Added tension so wires are no longer sag. No volt meter says unit is good. Because of that I think the gage is now bad, as it heated up and wire came off, I'm thinkin...

Mine put out black smoke I adjusted the screw, from your picture on the far left, turn it out if possible. I reduces the spring tension on the diaphragm. Mine went from black to clean, but my screw was all the way in?? That way when I bought the Rig.

Wheel bolt pattern
According to the post I have found, the wheel bolt pattern is 5X160mm But when I measure my bolt pattern from center of stud 1 to stud 3 it seam to measure 155mm, not 160. What am I doing wrong?

I built mine as well, got tired of the leak.
I used exhaust flex hose, solid metal coil, runs allot quieter now.

It smokes through the exhaust pipe, but the smoke can then enter.
