Re: Engine Trouble
I rarely post here. Your problem could be major, could be a $10 fix. I agree with RMEL. 1st, check to be sure all spark plug wires are connected, and that your cap and rotor are properly secured and oriented. Also, check around your carburetors to be sure the throttle bodies have not come loose from...

Re: Replacing front coil springs
It seems no one ever does the math. If you do the math, and if I remember correctly, these springs exert over 6000 lbs pressure. Most normal spring compressors won't fit, and if they do, they will explode on full pressure. You can make a spring compressor, which is what I did. My local speed shop, B...

Re: Voltage Surge?
Agree. Test all the molex connections. Then pull the alternator and take it to a local shop. It only costs about $120 to rebuild a Denso and about $110 to rebuild the Bosch. All standard parts and any shop can do it.

Re: Reverse-mount 12V alternator
I haven't been on this forum in ages, so please forgive me if this has been covered ... While running a second system you will find that one of your batteries is dragged down and beat unconscious. This, as I personally found, is due to the fact that everyone makes all their doodads and thingies to h...

Re: High Capacity Alternator -- Wanted
wow. LMFAO. My friend posted a few years ago that he wanted to rebuild his alternator and increase the output. A bunch of a$$holes poo-poo-ed the idea and told him it just couldn't be done. They did the same thing to anything he posted. He left your forum and came to me. I came here and found the sa...

Re: Heat Exchanger - ceramic coated, 2 connection
NOTE: I had forgotten about this heat exchanger until my friend called me. He said someone was looking for one? It might have been on another 4x4 forum. I still have it. It is in better condition than almost any you will find. Flexible on price because it's just sitting in storage. I'm not sure who ...

Can't read a F*cking thing on here anymore. Bright green? That's the stupidest color choice for reading I have ever seen. I guess I hadn't checked this board in a while. it is now officially useless, an eyesore, and worthless to me. Good luck.

Bump.
The last ones sold on here looked good, but they were also used, unpainted, and sold at $150. I'll drop the price to $200. These ones look like-new.

Re: Heat Exchanger - ceramic coated, 2 connection
No ceramic coating on the inside. You want the heat to easily transfer between fins and air, but remain inside the exchanger. My powder coat/ceramic guy has a big machine that looks like a big bin with white beads in it. It vibrates the parts in it. The beads fill up everything and vibrate a fine po...

Heat Exchanger - ceramic coated, 2 connection
I have a heat exchanger for sale that is freshly ceramic coated. Hard to photo because it is a reflective silver. My specialty coating guy prepped and ceramic coated this one silver, like a new one. Right now it's a little bit shiny silver, but he tells me with time and weather it will dull a little...

Looks excellent. You forgot to ceramic coat the clamp.
