WHY:
Why would you post something so trivial as a spelling correction? Insipid / Droll
Why would you post a pejorative regarding my wife when you have never met her? Boorish / Infantile
Why do you think there is excess metal around the bumper fairlead? Any calculations to support this

Wench Bumper Suprise
We are getting our 710K ready for a coat of paint. I was dreading taking the bed liner coating off of the bumper. It was nasty but worth the effort. I found out why this stuff maybe is not so desirable.

Re: Cooper stt or Bfgoodrich km2
I replaced the BFG MT tires on my 710K with five Cooper Discover S/T Maxx tires (LT235/85R16). I don't know anything about rocks but the noise and vibration at 55+ MPH reduced significantly and she handles like a sports car with 35 psig tire pressure. I have these same tires on my Frontier truck and...

Re: Carb synchronizer
Carburetor - Synchronizer adapter I bought a Weber Dellorto Mikuni SU EMPI Carburetor Synchronizer from eurocarpartsguy on evil-bay and I mistakenly ordered the SK instead of the larger BK model. I contacted the seller about an exchange. After 2 weeks I have not heard from him so I decided to make a...
Re: Pinzi SSI
My experience: I installed the SSI system on my 710K about 4 weeks ago. I had spent quite a bit of time corresponding with Rick regarding running the system on the truck 24 volt system. At first we tried to engineer a resistor but the variability of the current draw made this unworkable. Next I grav...

Re: Where to start?
I've made some progress. As suggested I took a hard look at the 4 way switch. It had obviously been opened before so I jumped in. I could not find any visible internal damage so I put it back together. I went through the tests to match the connectors and determined that they do switch continuity. Th...

Re: Where to start?
More Information:. I did check all of the circuit breakers (several times) and they are set. When the low beams are on the tail lights are also on Every thing except the rear 4 way flashers worked just prior to my mischief The heater blower and windshield wipers still work. The engine starts and run...

Where to start?
The rear 4 way flashers on my 710 K have not worked since I bought it and I don't think they worked for the PO. I was rooting around under the dash thinking about working on this problem. I was most interested in the 4 way flasher switch wiring. According to a write up from EI pulling the double ora...

Valve Stem Seal Replacement
After driving my new (to me) 710 for 1200 miles I've concluded it at least needs valve stem seals. Either it does not have them or they are worn out. In either case I have the same task. Now I have searched the threads on this wonderful forum and am confused. Mr. LaGuardia states "the tiny spri...

Re: How does the starter switch circuit work + more question
After thinking about this for a while I have two questions: Why is it necessary to break the 28 volt supply to the coil inside the ignition switch (terminals 16 & 16a)? Couldn't you achieve the same isolation if you just hooked terminal 16 to the motor side of the starter switch? What am I missi...
