I used stainless steel sheets for some of the side paneling because I had it laying around. Everything else is steel.
Definitely took some time to build but I think it was well worth it.

Grab a center console for your pinzgauer before they are gone! They work out very nice when out on the trail and attach directly to the engine cover.

There are 3 more center consoles left at www.swpinz.com. Great for holding your drinks and storing your belongings that you want to keep close.

All you do for installation is remove the existing lid, set the console in that location, there is a cutout to fit around the opening. Once in place you use the front and back latches to hold it down. I can not say anything about the noise reduction since I never drove one with the lid.
