Re: Replacement Seats
I agree that those look great. I renovated my original seats a couple years ago quite successfully but these look very comfortable. Paul, anymore details on model number, how you modified them for the original frames, etc? And, it also looks like you need to give us a pictorial tour of your Pinz int...

Yes, I replaced all of mine and I am pretty sure that I got them from superbrightleds.com.

Re: Rotella users: T4 or T6?
I have always used T4 as recommended by the previous owner who was a Porsche tech at one time working on a lot of air cooled engines. I've got nothing else.

That looks great! I have done a similar install. Perhaps we should start a Vince Winch picture thread.

General Components Bison 2000A heater
Is anybody familiar with this Bison 2000A heater? It appears to be a Webasto Air Top 2000 look alike out of Canada. Parts also appear to be interchangeable. Given the rise in Webasto prices, it is about half of that at $649 ( Amazon and other truck accessory suppliers). It is available in gasoline (...

Re: Hard starting hot
What is the interval between starts? Long enough for the fuel to evaporate in the bowl in hot weather? Are you using the "choke" in hot weather; full? half? There are many variables.
Re: Pinzi SSI
This is disappointing but I guess I understand. Once a pinz ssi user, there is no going back. I hope mine functions for a long time in the face of the inability to replace or repair. As for the rest of my Pinz, I expect it to do well for quite some time.

Re: Pay monthy for your car's options??
The "connected" vehicle has led to this. It has been present for a while and now the manufacturers have figured out a way to make a buck. A couple years ago I was surprised when I received an email from my Jeep dealer telling me my tire pressure was low. I considered it an invasion of priv...

Re: Why do you read this forum?
It looks like another year has passed since I have hit the donate button and will gladly do it again. The forum has been a bit slow lately. Maybe all of our trucks are fixed. (uh no!). Maybe, as Andre has mentioned, other social media platforms are being used more. (hope not, I don't do either.) Reg...
