Bump; Any news 63Rover or bikmakr?
I read these threads with great interest at the time and have been following along.
This seems far too good a project to go by the wayside.
Has anyone else taken up the challenge?

Re: Oil pressure drop, 712 Pinz
Thanks Albert Jim; from my description and your experience would you think it’s likely to be an oil pump issue? To my knowledge there was no issue prior to it being laid up, I couldn’t rule out an obstruction finding its way into the sump. The old oil filter which I drove it home on was very corrode...

Re: Oil pressure drop, 712 Pinz
Thanks for your replies guys. I haven’t had a chance lately to get back to it but did finally get a little time. It’s certainly a strange one. I started an ran it stationary in the shed with initial good oil pressure. I ran it up to approx 3000rpm and held it there to warm it up. The problem appears...

Oil pressure drop, 712 Pinz
Hey guys Looking for some technical advice on my 712 Pinz It has been off the road for going on ten years now and i have been slowly getting it back into shape to make its return over the past 18 months since I purchased it. It has an issue with the engine dropping oil pressure quite suddenly after ...

Interesting read Vince, thanks for the link. Does anyone know whether the Doetsch shocks are still available?

Re: 1975 710K Restomod (10yr Anniversary)
Great looking vehicle.
I love seeing all the little detailed mods that make it practical and functional for the owner that only come with use and continual evolution.
Everyone is different and have a setup that works for them and it’s always interesting to see.
Love the paint work too

Re: Pinzgauer Rescue
Loving following your build Ron, it’s looking great! We have done many of the same mods I have just been slack on posting my progress. I want to get a hard top on mine too, initially just the front but eventually the whole length. unfortunately I’m in Australia so will have to sort something out loc...

Re: Pinzgauer Rescue
Enjoying the read of your latest project. I’m wondering if you can elaborate a little on a couple of things. Your new VDO speedo, I assume it’s electric and I’m interested to know about where your picking up signal/reading setup. My original speedo drive is stripped internally (in the diff) and it’s...

Looks like a great project
What would Flick have used it for?
Has anyone got any idea how many 303’s in Aus?
I’m curious how it compares to Pinzgauers.

Re: Rear "K" door into a 712M
Thanks for your comments guys. I do now remember reading through Prof Pinz's posts ( thanks D.D ) back when I was searching 718's in Aus, what he has done but to a lesser extent and on one side is what I want to achieve! Because I have the hard sides and I want to fit a hard roof I want something th...

Rear "K" door into a 712M
Hey guys I have been lurking behind the scenes but doing plenty of reading (and learning) since my last post. Also since my last post I have become a Pinz owner, a 712M with a hard back canopy fitted. It's going to tidy up quite nicely I think and I'll put up some more info and my plans sometime soo...
