Re: Pinz symbol
The finishing technique is called "dry brushing". You'll need masking tape, an Exacto knife, a piece of cardboard, flat black paint, flat white paint, flat clear paint, paper towels and a very stiff bristled hobby paint brush. The first step is pretty obvious. I cleaned it really good. Sec...

Here's a pic of the refinish on mine. Since my vehicle has a well-worn finish, I went the same way on the symbol.

Re: Intercom
I found some noise canceling headsets with a boom mike on Ebay that work with my Motorola T600 walkies. I just turn on the VOX setting.

Re: Very dangerous winch mount
No offense intended. Bad day and have had a few poor experiences on forums lately. I apologize for being snitty.
By the way. Rather than using the winch for pulling the Pinzgauer I use it as a lifting device. I’m too old and fat to get into places I need a winch to get out of.

Re: Very dangerous winch mount
Okay so the pic starting this post is copied from my post on some work being done to my pinz. Which pretty much means that you did mean to pick on the owner. But more to the point. Had anyone had simply directed a question to me rather than starting this thread, you would have learned that the pictu...

Vince I am afraid I haven't been contracted to do such a study. However, if you would like to provide my usual $20K fee I would be glad to see what I can find.

Re: New Guy Intro....
Welcome aboard. Now I'm not the FNG anymore. Use the search function. There's a ton of info on here. And do your research before buying. I looked and lurked for years before getting my 710M and really paid off. Not only in getting a good price, but also in finding one that had all of the right thing...
