In Search of Volvo Part
Hello, Thank you for looking. I am in search of a “companion flange” for my C303. I have located a vibration passed on from the previous owner coming from an out of center flange on the rear end of the transfer case. The part happens to be identical to all the flanges on the driveline. The connectio...

Filters, parts and consumables thread.
Good day to all. I am starting to a mass parts to refresh and restore my tgb 11. I have found some information across the pond on c303.de and from the now disbanded yahoo group. I thought it may be nice to update and share information about parts sourcing to help others find quality parts cheap. Obv...

Re: Inbound C303 questions
Thank you for your reply’s. Funny thing I thought that filler spout was something far more interesting, but after your suggestion that exactly what it is Jim. Hopefully I can find some free time when your not busy to come visit. Keep me in mind if you need a hand with a project too, happy to lend a ...

Re: Volvo Information, Operator and Service Manuals
Thanks for the info Jim!
I received my manual, it is as described by Aaron not bad but not the best quality. Wonder if we could find someone with a lightly used original manual who would be willing to have it professionally reproduced. Ive got 600 pages to pour over while I wait.
Best,
Dustin

Inbound C303 questions
Hello fellow Volvo lovers! I have a tgb11 (my dream vehicle) on the ocean on its way to Tacoma WA! Ive been toying with buying one for a few years and figured why think when I could jump on in. I live in Oregon an hour Sw of Portland and heavily influenced by a great group of Volvo owners circled ar...

Re: New Tires 315/75r16
I’ve got a good friend that has a suspension, tire and wheel business for VW Vanagon’s. I asked him about the tube vs tubeless question for these wheels. He assured me that modern wheels it’s not a concern when properly inflated and when on the trail speeds are low enough it’s not an issue. He also ...

Re: Volvo Information, Operator and Service Manuals
I would expect that intellectual property and copyright is now in public domain. I’d bet that if you were willing some people could fund properly reprinting your manual in a high quality form. I didn’t realize that the lulu press edition was shade-tree type quality. Just as important as keeping part...

Re: Volvo Information, Operator and Service Manuals
Aaron, thanks for the Dropbox link. I’m hoping the lulu book is of decent quality, but nevertheless it’s great to have a print version in the truck. Hope to catch up soon. Jim, I’m very excited! I’m going to head in the alu-zink direction. I missed you when I popped in with some fresh caught salmon....

Re: POLY CV Boots
There’s a guy on the Volvo C303 Facebook page offering silicone cv boots made for off-road rigs with Volvo axles Out of Malaysia. Anyone tried these out? From what I understand silicone is much more durable and resistant to dry rot and tearing.

Re: Volvo Information, Operator and Service Manuals
Howdy, I suppose a brief introduction is in order... I’ve been reading up here over the last year to feed my curiosity and admiration for the c303. I got to ride in c303 back in ‘12 at the Waldersee farm in Oregon and wanted to find my own ever since. I’m moving forward this fall purchasing one and ...

Wow, I’m not sure I could park a brand new to me C303 in garage and wait out the taxes. My hats off to you. If I end up buying a European C303 I’ll probably check vessel tracking daily and show up to the port a day early just in case!
Seriously, thank you for the input.

Wow!
Great job. I didn’t know how much TLC went into your TK. Good job with the documentation.

Importation Tax into USA
Hello, Im a long time reader of the forum and enthusiast of the C303. I’ve been fortunate enough to ride in these great trucks and would love to own one. I’ve been researching the importation of a C303 into the states and learning about ownership in all the pages here. Are there people that have exp...
