Re: 710K Door Lock Keys
i had spare door keys made here in las vegas last year. the lock shop used some VW key that had "Borkey" on it and imprinted with "786 1/2". unfortunately that shop is no longer in business, but maybe that will help some. (there's two little marks over top of the O)

Re: what is this sign/plaque
oh, that explains it. i was under the impression that this was a fairly common sign for these trucks. i had no idea. maybe now i will make-up a wild story about what it means, more fun for me! thanks everyone.

is it safe to weld on truck body
I have heard concerns that welding directly onto the truck body may cause issues with the voltage regulator and maybe batteries because of the body being "ground." I need to have some body work done and need to know if it is ok for them to weld on one of the panels without causing any prob...

fuel pump issue
the inlet tube on my 710 fuel pump is loose and wobbly in the hole and leaking gas from there. is that something i can fix, or do i need to order a new top piece? i haven't removed it to see if it's just a pressure fit or how it's inserted, just trying to get ahead of this repair.

front wheel hub steps
i'm looking to add hub steps to my truck and these two seem to be the best. i can't decide which is better and would like to hear from those who have experience with either of them to see which is best.

flasher connection-newbie needs help
the flasher is gone from my truck and i'm installing a new one (NAPA EG-23 with 3 terminals) and i'm not sure which wires to connect to which terminals. I think the green wire goes on the X post (there are 2 green wires spliced together and I think it's ok to leave one free), the yellow/black wire o...
