What kind of engine & tranny did you use?
Why the engine mount point? I would have have thought that a front engine
would be easier to free space for the living space?

Seen on Craigslist. The engine does look real nice. I wonder why this particular one cannot be registered in California according to the Ad ? Since, it's a 1973, shouldn't it be easy to register in CA? One of the very few original, unmolested, fully professional serviced and fully operational Swiss ...

But isn't it a 1975, so smog exempt in California ?

Shouldn't one be able to buy this and get it registered in California? I doubt there are pinzgauer experts at the DMV.
