Hi Sam, I've a 712M running on old Military Sand tread Tyres called Bridgestone Jamals (similar to old Michelin XS). They are a 7.50 R16 tyre, ie Not very tall (say 32") and quite narrow. The walls are 8 ply so airing down doesn't change the contact area very much. Probaly similar to Maloyas bu...

How do I set RivNuts?

Hello Forum,

I've had to drill out half a dozen of the Rivnuts that hold the wooden siderails in place.

I can get new Rivnuts, But how do I set them? Some kind of Pop Rivet type gun perhaps, or is there another way?

Thanks in advance.

Maybe they are very popular and busy, or maybe it's a tricky jobnthey aren't so keen on? The only th...

Diesel Fuel Tank for Petrol Pinz?

Folks,

Is it possible to fit (with ease) the newer Plastic tank from a TD to a petrol Pinzgauer.

If so would there be any advantage in doing this?

Regards

Rhino Liners

I'm awaiting a quote for rhino lining the inside of a 712K, it's the 3 door variant (driver, passanger & rear). Initially I'm interested in the lower half being coated. Once you remove all the old panels and foam from the K it's a real tin can, so I was thinking maybe it's a good idea to do the ...
