I have one that I bought from patrick about a year ago, and never installed. (I elected to go with a factory unit instead)
in short, I have one that I'll sell cheap. new, never installed.

H2's and pinzies on the same trail?
that would be a cool trip!
most of my friends know that I'm not a fan of the H2 or H3, but I would like to see them on the trail. In particular, I would like to see one on steel bender, or better yet, the spike in moab.

rub rail fun...
its actually a good idea to take them off from time to time, and inspect the metal. the rub rails have a tendency to well... rub... against the base metal, and to trap moisture. in short. a common rust area is under the rub rail.

what I do...
its pretty hard to get the pinz oil up to a decent temp, when the outside temp hovers in the 20's. so what I've been doing lately is just to pull the top cover on the doghouse, and remove the oil filler cap after I run the truck. (basically an escape path for the moisture) its a given that in order ...

I have the same issue....
Dennis, I have the same issue on my truck, except there is clear evidence of feul leakage on both carbs. (as much as a teaspoon at the base of each butterfly) the truck runs like a champ. it might stumble a little on a cold morning until it gets warmed up, but that isn't unusual per some of your inp...

FCC relaxed license requirements.
All, most of you use CB to communicate on the trail, but once you experience 2M bliss with a "real" radio, you'll wish the cb on your worst enemy! the FCC just relaxed the regulations on licenses, eleminating the morse requirement on licenses above tech class. you will still need to take a...
