I have lost one of the two screws for tightening the switch to the steering column. Does anyone have one or can someone direct me where I can find a replacement? It seems to work fine for now, but I constantly have to check the unit for tightness.
Thanks!

I have been following this link as I am thinking of possibly going with a European camo pattern, just have not decided which one. The following links may be helpful to some. www.colorserver.net www.surplusjeep.com/trspaint.htm Just remember there are color variations from monitor to monitor. Regards...

I got a pair of split boots recently from SAV. I am not sure who makes them as they come in SAV packaging. They did however come with complete installation instructions. I replaced two boots 2 years ago and they have held up well. I was told that these boots were supplied by EI by the dealer I purch...

Power Wagon Rally
I was wondering if someone off the list attended the Vintage Power Wagon Rally held in Fairfield, IA a couple of weekends ago? I live just down the road, but missed this years rally as I was out of town. Friends have told me that a truck 'just like' mine was there....

Thanks for the great link to those military photos! I guess I should 'fess up' to the fact that I too have done my share of upgrades to my Pinz as well. But I try to keep it mostly of a military nature. My truck is ready for the next conflict....HA! Love the forum and enjoy the posts from all the Pi...

Pinz Military Heritage....
Greetings to all! Does anyone in the group have any info or photos of the 710/712 series vehicles in actual military service? I am curious as to what type of markings, unit or otherwise, may have been used. Are Switzerland, Austria and Great Britain the only armies to equip themselves with this vehi...

The rear boots that I already changed are the split type and I have had no issues with them. My main reason for asking about the boots is that, I see a quite a price difference between them and I don't want to assume that the most expensive is the best quality. Are these boots from many different su...

Boot replacement
Greetings, When conducting a routine truck inspection, I discovered that both front axle boots as well as the shifter boot are severely cracked and basically starting to disintegrate. I am assuming that it is due to the severe temperature fluctuations this winter. I changed the rear axle boots soon ...

Leak at speedo cable
I am needing advice on the procedure for changing the o-ring(s) where the speedometer assy goes into the case. I think I have all the needed items, but I have heard some nightmare stories. If there is someone who can tell me what to watch out for or any other helpful tips for doing this procedure it...
