Re: hard on the brakes then..... wouldn't pull

Ok guys some more info (but i still will not see the truck until this weekend) It had not rained until after the truck was on a rollback going down the road. So water would not be the problem. The fluid i saw the next morning was oil base. It was coming from BETWEEN THE BATTERY BOX AND THE FUEL TANK...

I don't know why you would. If you can get the friction material, re-riveting new material on an existing shoe is pretty cheap done at a heavy truck brake place. I am always up for a challenge :) It would be another thing i could mark off my list of things i've done! or tried to do! lol I can get a...

Smoking ........ Very strange !

Started off under heavy braking (lol) it would start smoking OUT OF THE TAIL PIPE. Grayish color smoke very thick and would clear up in app 15 sec. The other day went to the store and going through the parking lot it did it without braking. Took a little longer for it to clear up app 30 sec. It's no...

Need a rear canvas top for a 710 m. Going to use the top for a pattern. Have a friend that can help me make the top.(41yrs at Lockheed sewing / installing interiors in planes) Found a source for some pretty neat canvas in Germany. My rear door is custom being that the top half is alum / lexan. I wil...
