Re: Some changes being made to the EFI kits
These changes will not effect the price of the kits but may slow completion by a few weeks.. <snip>So.... I decided to try something with the intake plenum that would locate the injectors in it's primary runners, but not actually in the intake manifold. The manifold position of the injectors has it...

Since the Pinz is such a cool running engine, at least in my climate, condensation is more of a problem than oil break down. So I use a conventional 10W40 or 10W30 oil and change it often. The Pinz is the only vehicle that I have ever had that has had the condensation problem so it is the only vehic...

When the manual was written, GL-5 wasn't around yet. The closest thing to MIL-L-2105 is GL-4. GL-5 is better than GL-4 for almost anything but the syncros in the tranny. GL-5 is too slippery for the syncros. I use GL-4 (Redline MT-90 synthetic) in my tranny but I use conventional GL-5 in everything ...

I get about 3 calls a week on average from Pinz owners looking for a repower project. The latest one I hear is a Suzuki engine and auto box <snip> Dennis Hi Dennis, That's hilarious since a lot of Suzuki Sammy and Tracker owners want to repower their vehicles. Can you imagine a 1.3L Sammy motor in ...

Morris, <snip> As far as I'm concern, none of the original speedos are correct. Some don't give the right speed, odometer are off or broken, tripmeter are broke, or the speedometer doesn't work... not to mention, once you change tire size, well ,you know.. Dave Dunn And don't forget, most of...

I think I could drop a 17HP kubota tractor diesel in a Pinz in a weekend. Of course It wouldn't be very fast. The problem is there are no available high enough power and rpm diesels that will fit in the space of the gas engine without major sheet metal cutting. I'm not even sure if there is a good w...

Hi Jim, I am curious as to why you didn't go with independant runners/throttle bodies. On my first EFI on the Pinz many years ago, I went with a plenum/single throttle body but quickly changed since I found the low end torque and controlability much better with independant runners/throttle bodies. I...
