My Two Cent's worth I own a TGB1111 a 710K and a 712M. The Volvo is a great truck. The top sucks, I threw it away the first day I received the truck! Just run a "bikini top" on mine, but I am in Florida. The Volvo is quieter and smoother than the Pinz and can accomodate larger tires. In th...

Insurance Help

Hello I am in Florida and I had my 710K, 712M and my Volvo Tgb1111 insured with Progressive (Liability only) and I received a letter that they will not renew my policy in January 2007, since they will no longer insure the Pinzgauers. :( What other carriers insure Pinzgauers in Florida? :?: Thanks Ma...

both accelerator pumps are working

The intent of my question was to ask if anybody knew what the adjustments on the accelerator pump did.

The rod to the pump has a threaded adjustment and the lever itself has 3 positions for mounting the rod.

My 710 does not do this.

Any I am talking about a bog on a warm engine.

This is not an ignition problem in my opinion.

I guess nobody has tried fixing this with carb adjustments

712 "bogs" right after idle on takeoff

Hello My 712 "bogs" right after idle on takeoff. There is like a small "dead spot" on the throttle. I know this is fuel starvation. Is there any adjustment on the carbs to make them inject a little more fuel a little sooner when the throttle is opened? After you rev past the &quo...

Sounds like a busted axle to me.

Pick up rear of truck with rear locker engaged and truck in gear. Whichever tire spins free has a busted axle.

Harbour Freight or Northern Tool 2-Ton Porta Power does a fine job on pulling out the wheel Drive.

Well 65.00 did not buy me a porta power at Harbour Freight, but 99.00 did for a 4 ton model. It worked like a champ, problably better and faster than the factory tool. Anyways, the service book talks about Loctite 270 on the mating surface. How much do I use? There is a lot of mating surface. Also i...

Sounds like your float level is too high or you have a bad float valve.

Start by getting the float level checking tool from SAV

You do not need to change any jets!!
