I was considering these when I got my new tires. I could not find any feedback on the web about them so I went with the the BFG MTs. The rim protectors came in handy on the Kentucky treffen with the BFGs. I hope the Bighorns turn out to be some good tires - they have the best price of the options I ...

Oxy/Acetylene WILL DESTROY a PVC spud gun, it's shooter and anyone else with the lack of better judgement to be in the near vicinity. I know someone who tried this - tore up his face, arm and torso. I'm partial to propane or mapp gass - cheaper and cleaner than hair spray. That bit of warning aside ...

'Tucky treffen

I know I'm posting in the wrong place - but this seems to be the only area that gets any traffic.
Anyone interested in a Kentucky 'wheelin trip this weekend check out the Trips section of the forum.

Spud gun loaded up. I'm off to the treffen tomorrow. There will be a couple of us there by Tuesday night. We will be camping at the Flats instead of the cave - but we may wind up there. To get to the Flats - on 1639 take a left just past mile marker 3 on to Sand Lick Road - go until you get to the f...

I would suggest checking your alignment before messing with the springs. If you are toed out it will suck the front end down while driving forward. Try driving in reverse on a paved surface and see if the front end rises. I went airborn with Tom several RMP treffens ago (with Barney in pursuit) and ...

Mine was starting to get a bit noisy. This post got me motivated to look into it before total failure. Pretty easy to work on. Completely dismanteled it. Decrusted armature by chucking it up in the cordless drill and used med/fine sandpaper in my hand. Just enough to defunk the light surface rust an...

That tempts me to install mine. Aside from the size, everyone I have fiddled with was a PITA to start. I would be more inclined to mount up mine if I new I could get it started without the time/fiddling involved.
Anyone out there have any hints/tricks for easy starts & use?

That price sounds tolerable. Is that with new bulbs and reflectors? Part #'s? Do they have a place for the super low-beam bulb? Where did you get them from? Links?
Is that enough questions?
thanx
