HA HA Great idea!! That would look good in the back of a Pinz. I was amazed by how good of shape that AA gun was. The optics were still crear and it traversed and elevated just like new. Must be the Swiss made bearings  . No joke, the owner of the gun said it had some Swiss made parts on it.

Bet you've never done this with your Pinz!

The MVPA club I belong to here in Davenport Ia. set up a display at the local airshow. I was about to leave when a re-enactor dressed in a German WWII uniform stopped me and asked if my truck had a pintle hitch. When I said yes he asked me if I could tow his gun to the parking lot for him. So I hitc...

I've used the Fram G2 fuel filters and had good luck. They're clear so you can see the red flakes if they're there. NAPA 3032 filter also will work, but it's solid metal, not see through. Hope this helps.

Very interesting. I've never seen this in a spray can. I wonder if it's really RAL 6014? I'd use this if it were a true color match. Anybody out there try it yet ?

Wow Jer Bear, quite the trip!! I bought my 1973 710M from Sean at Euro Truck about two years ago and drove it home to Iowa from Georgia. I also had a run in with law enforcement. I got stopped by an Illinois state trooper because " I was driving a military vehicle wearing civillian clothes.&quo...

Thanks for the input on my problem guys! As a matter of fact the weekend before my Pinz locked up I took it to a car wash and cleaned all of the road salt off of it. The truck then sat for a few days when the weather was in the single digits. So maybe something just froze up. I've had my truck out o...

Just an update on this issue. I took off the witches hat and checked everything out and things didn't look out of the ordinary. Checked oil level in tranny and that was OK too. So I took my 710 out for a short drive and it drove fine! I guess this one has everybody here stumped too!

Pinz died then came back!

I wanted to drive the Pinz to work this morning, so after letting it warm up for about ten minutes, I was on my way. I backed out of my driveway like normal, but then when I went to shift from reverse to second gear, NOTHING!! . The shifter froze up and wouldn't go into any gear forward or...

Yeah man, just drive it home. I bought my 710 from Sean down in Georgia and drove it home to eastern Iowa. I just brought oil ( didn't even use it ) and ear plugs when I drove my Pinz home. I drove about 55 MPH and took two days to get home, just take your time and enjoy the trip and everything shou...

Tear in rear top window

After having the top on my 710 rolled up all spring and summer long I unrolled it yesterday and saw that one of the windows had cracked and torn  . Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do to fix the window? Thanks, Dave.

I had the same problem . When I went to start up my 710 I had to push the starter button several times, and even had to "wiggle" my finger while pushing the button. After replacing the starter button all was well.

I agree with the other guys Mike, those rails look great! I replaced my original wood rails with gray Trex about a year ago. If I knew about these metal rails I wouldn't have wasted my time with the Trex. Good idea tying the rails into the rear bumper like that.
