You are chasing demons. With a thin coating of RTV between the cap and adapter, your civilian cap is just as "waterproof" as the stock cap. Are you aware that your existing "waterpoof" distributor has 6 large vents in the base of it? Pull the distributor and turn it over and they...

Converting winches is simple, just purchase the 24V motor sold from numerous motor shops. Even the warn 24V winches use 12V solenoids, just wired differently. It's very simple to convert one over, although usually not very cost effective unless you get a good deal on the winch.

FYI, We see an inordinately higher number of problems from installations that are trying to save the extra 10 minutes by splicing the black wire of the pertronix inside the distributor. As per our instructions and Pertronix, the black wire should be running DIRECT to the distributor. If installed in...

In the rubber 90 degree elbow of that line there will be a brass jet...more than likely it is clogged. Do NOT completely remove it.

Did your mechanic verify that the cable had no restrictions/and or the 90 degree speedo drive/and or the speedo itself? If something on the upstream side of the "pencil gear" is bad, it is quite common for it to destroy the pencil gear.

Readily available switch. Check with the Unimog dealers, same switch as used on the Clauss overdrives....whole lot better price.

I don't think you pissed anyone off Morris...just gave an outlet for comment. Lightningpinz did a good description of the reason for using a proper crimper. I was a little off when I tossed out my $8 quote :)......we have been using a basic unit from Mcmaster - 7061K12 $28 - for many years for our c...

I love it.....lets spend how long splitting a nut in half, welding it to a plate so that we can use a crowbar to crimp the connections. I mean come on the proper crimping tool must be $8 to do the job right.

Gotta Love it.....

Shameless plug.....I just happen to have a new 8274 in 24V sitting at my shop.....I'd make a screaming deal on it. It's been in inventory way too long.

Rubber Valve Cover Gaskets

Hi Guys, Tired of your old cork valve cover gaskets? So were we. So we contracted the leading aftermarket gasket maker to solve the problem. New manufacture, rubber valve cover gaskets. Re-usable, and very durable, these gaskets will seal much better than their cork counterpart. And at $2 each (Yes ...

Hi John (Lighteningpinz), You are way off base to infer that I do not feel Sean/Jake deserve their ROI. Maybe YOU should re-read my post, again, and again. Here let me quote a couple of my own lines for your reference: "I stepped up...put my money where my mouth is. Sean has my order for multip...

Re: Update!

I stepped up...put my money where my mouth is. Sean has my order for multiple units. I am 100% supportive of the project, the development, and the price. Something to keep in mind is the following: The kit is being marketed DIRECT to the general population. Exactly as I would expect on a low quantit...
