Another trip to the Pinelands
Hey Guys. I participated in a trail ride in the New Jersey Pinelands. The convoy featured several military vehicles. Unfortunately I was the only Pinz. The good side was I got the most questions about my truck. There are a few pics on my Flickr account. http://www.flickr.com/photos/tahl007/ Brian 19...

The hole I got stuck in is usually filled with water. In fact that whole area is usually underwater to the tone of a foot or more. That hole must come as a big surprise to anyone unaware of its existence. Mike, the CUCV owner, told me that Duce and Half’s drive thought it up to their windshields. On...

Now here on the East Coast we lack the beauty of the desert but right here in New Jersey located between the cities of New York and Philadelphia is a vast tract of land called The Pinebarrens, Very flat, the highest point in the Pinebarrens is only about 600 feet above sea level. From a fire tower l...

Thanks Jim How does this look? http://www.flickr.com/photos/tahl007/2935551305/ The fit was real tight but I got them on. I replaced the two rear boots. On another note there was a little oil that had collected in both boots. There as a little more in the left side boot than the right side. Brian 19...

E bay Purchase
Has anyone had experience buying parts form E Bay,?
What suppliers have good ratings with Pinz owners or do most of you avoid E bay?
Thanks
Brian

Shock Cords
I need to replace a few shock cords.
1. Is there a ratio to the length you need to buy to the length that it needs to be when stretched out?
2. I also remember someone saying that there is an everyday tool that can be used to crimp the clamps. Does anyone know what that everyday tool is?

Cool! OK, the project is done! and man am I happy. Those Maloyas were the cause of most the noise created by a moving Pinz. The new tires are tremendous. :D :D :D I want to thank to everyone who joined in on helping me. Here is a link to my Flickr page for a few pics. http://www.flickr.com/photos/ta...

OK a little snag, I think. I know I must have missed something in Pinz Tires 101, but I had no idea that the Maloyas were tubed tires? :o So can tubeless tires be mounted on the stock rims? My tire guy say its no problem to mount them with tubes but that I will not be able to use the system of tiny ...
