Re: Rear steps, which ones work best?
I had tim fab up a single step when I pull the trailer. Just remove the two hinge pins and put the single in place of one of the hinge pins. So far his step has stayed up on my trucks. The biggest difference between cwr step and tims is the way the spring attaches to the mounting bracket. The oval l...

Re: Rear steps, which ones work best?
I run Tim's rear bumper with the tire carrier and jerry can holder so I had Tim modify the rear step to be longer and add two additional springs. This keeps the step up high and tight. I believe CWR has added a second set of springs to theirs in the "newer" models. the originals only had t...

Re: Transfer Case - Jumps Out of Gear
check to make sure the cable is adjusted so that the transfer case is going fully into gear. Also a good time to lube the connection points on each end of the cable along with the eye sockets where the cable is bolted to the body at each end.

Re: Engine conversion
since I did not buy my pinzies to drive the highways the extra power does not appeal to me. The down side is that the drive train simply can not take much more power off road. I have seen a lot of broken axles, bent/twisted central drive shafts, not to mention the tranny problems by people with lead...

I am currently trying to find a source for a billet that will accept a removable steering wheel (for added pinz security). I have a line on a guy who says he can make them if I send him a wheel and top portion of the shaft, both of which I have, just need to send them off. The steering wheel that is...
