Yep, I use the catalytic heaters in my pinzies. They work fine. The truck tops and doors leak enough and the heaters were after all designed for tents. I know that some worry about them in the truck, with the smell of raw gas and all. I personally think if you can smell raw gas in your truck you nee...

After looking at some of your likes in art work, it will be interesting to see what paint scheme you come up with for the Pinz.

Good luck with your search :)

Erik I know Tim can make just about anything you want. I am sure if you contact him he will work with you. He does his mods based on the individual owners desires. The rear tire/jerry can holder has been made with and without the jerry can holders and one was done with three jerry cans and three too...

As I have six off road vehicles and go out with many people who don't have winches, I chose the Black Rat hand winch http://www.sierraexpeditions.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=152 This will work whether the vehicle is running or has electrical power. It is also portable enough to take to any loca...

Tim's side rails in either model are about the only ones that I would consider. Many lift points and it is nice to have something I can actually walk on when storing items on the top racks. I have used mine far more times than I can recount on my 710 and my 712. Those who know me and what I have don...

I don't have one of his tops but I did take one of his first generation tops that one of the SWPA truck owners has on his up to him for repair. The top got caught on a tree branch and pulled back the top layer. Ray fixed the top up while I waited and barely even charged for the material to do the wo...

based on your other post "strange smells" I would take the inspection plate off of the slave cylinder for the clutch. You should be able to see into the bell housing and see if that slave cylinder is leaking onto the clutch and out the drain hole. Of course Jim has listed the most common leak areas ...

some of the European folks have used the Smart car seats. I don't think the wife would let me take her seats out and try them in my pinz, so I will have to take their word that they fit.

I have done 8 sets of aftermarket seats for people. By far the best seats have come out of Honda car products. I personally have the CRX seats in my 710 and prelude seats in my 712. Geo seats also work although not as low a profile as Honda. About half of the sets I have done were on stock frames. T...

Did you contact EI? They used to sell them some years ago. May still have them but not on website. If I recall there was a name on the bottom of mine of the company that printed them, too dark to see right now.

just did a clutch pressure plate job on my 712. What do you mean by not working? Did you recently do a clutch replacement?
