Re: Decoding a 7 digit Pinz VIN

Got a second email back today - they have found my vehicle records and will send to me for 75 Euro.

In this case curiosity didn't kill the cat, just made his wallet lighter

Re: How is this group of resistances and diodes called?

Hi. I think you have parts #65 and #66 from the electrical wiring diagram.

The SDP part is 09-40-54 (Diode Housing) and SAV lists it as P/N 7112850690.

Re: Decoding a 7 digit Pinz VIN

I requested a build sheet on my vehicle yesterday and the fee is a whopping 90 Euro !!! When I first read the post I thought it said "free", but I should have known. What does the build sheet include? Is it worth the euros? Who did you contact? I used the general query link on the website...

Re: New member with old 712M

Been busy buying up parts. Got a SSI kit on the way, new locker lever, carb ball joint connectors, and a few small other bits from SAV. Locally I have bought an ignition switch, starter button, 2 batteries, battery terminals, battery jumper cable, fuel filter, fuel hose and wheel stud nuts to mount ...

Re: New member with old 712M

Measurements of the vents for Dan. The vent base (outer ring) is level with the top of the bumper. Note my bumper and front of truck is a bit dented so take all of these measurements with a grain of salt. The LHS side vent is critical, it has to clear the hydraulic pipes inside. You can see from the...

Re: Decoding a 7 digit Pinz VIN

Mine doesn't follow that format.

First 3 digits are 470.

Maybe they used a new prefix for each country they supplied to?

Plus they probably get their cars paid for, and it makes for an exciting clip to get more viewers and more sponsorship

Decoding a 7 digit Pinz VIN

Sorry if this has been asked before, I did read through 11 pages of search results before posting.

Is there any way to get build information from a 7 digit VIN for a 1984ish 712M?

Obviously you can get 17 digit decoders all over the internet.

Thanks.

Re: Buy Key Blank for 710K Doors

Can you please post a photo of you cut key and the blank?

My 712 came with door locks but no keys at all. I will need to remove the tumbler and take to a locksmith.

Thanks.

Re: Pinzgauer Solid State Ignition Systems

Shipping weight is 6.3 pounds. Shipping is included in the price, international shipping is $50 more. I would advise shipping to the USA address, since international shipping takes longer, is risky, and can add taxes upon delivery. Thanks for the prompt response. It will cost me about $63 from USA ...

Re: Pinzgauer Solid State Ignition Systems

Need to buy one of these kits - thought I would bump your post up at the same time.

Can you please let me know the shipping weight?

Need to work out if it will be cheaper to send to my USA mailing address or my residential address.

Thanks,

Mick

Re: New member with old 712M

Looks like a nice set up Jim. Thanks for posting it.

My friend's work truck has a bench on one side, sliding drawers on the other. There is a large opening window above the work bench (needs sealing).
