Hella 91/46 - 24V Headlamp relay

Anyone know a good source for this, I have contacted all my auto outlets, they say only 12 and 6V are available even on E bay? would a 12 v work...even if with a short lifespan......the one on my Pinz looks original and mines a 1971........I would be happy with a lifespan of 15 years or more...I,d j...

Re: Here's something to cringe at!

Bond used to make their own little 2 strokes......and the 4 wheel version was a beautiful little thing.

Re: Interesting article on replica cars "getting a new life"

Hmm...sound interesting for America, but I have a kind of 'twisted thinking' way of looking at cars in general? I always wanted to buy something like an NG and put it on a modern Landrover chassis? or a Pinz chassis? https://youtu.be/Xy6Yjvb7LiU

Re: Newbie to Pinz

I thought of BFG KM2s for my wife's JK having read so many good things about them from all corners of the 4x4 community......but I got a job lot on G90s and put them on the JK Wrangler as well and we have no complaints so far......Not many JKs on skinny 7.50R16s

Re: Newbie to Pinz

Fellow Pinz owner.......someone already mentioned it, but before you drive it in anger....lose those crazy bias belted Maloya tyres......they are not as some people have in the past put it 'interesting' they are downright dangerous!!! See/feel your vehicle transformed before you very eyes, just chan...

Re: Praga

I have always liked the Praga and well impressed with vids of it pulling large loads of wood out of forests......but I think it has a top speed of around 35 MPH which makes it a bit too slow for main roads or long distances.

Re: Radial tire or original Bias ,

I have run Goodyear G90....they only come in 7.50RX16 and are the tallest 7.50 you will find. I can,t fault them, had them for 7 years on my 710K....(not used every day but maybe once a week) In mud great, in snow great.....even in Eastern Polish winters. I have just fitted them to my Jeep Wrangler ...

Re: Post Pinzgauer Project

I know what you mean......The Seikel was just a dream......don,t even look at the prices unless your heart is in very good condition....I still have my 710k with Merc Diesel for adventuring, discovering new tracks and lanes here in Eastern Poland (5 years now!).......we were also running a restored ...

Re: this should explain a little of the noise heard in a pin

When cruising just on the edge of 'over run' my pinz always made a noise like lots of shafts turning close to each other....and so it should the way the front to rear driveline is and is contained......but for ages I 'knew' this sound but could not for the life of me remember where I had heard it......

Re: 10 YEARS!!! The Portal Hub is 10 years old?

Same here I must have been thinking about buying a Pinzgauer for about 10 years......but have only had mine for what? almost 5 now? maybe a little more??......I don't really think it was the funds that slowed my purchase, first I had to move to a house with a garage and secure parking, that would do...

Re: Gov Liquidation pulled all 2.5 and 5 ton trucks.

Well maybe I was a bit harsh, but in UK and a lot of Europe all of these silly decisions are pushed by a 'Green' and very Left Wing Agenda aimed at eventual minute control of every aspect of everyday life, so you can bet I am a bit angry at the people who make these decisions. As has been said they ...

Re: Gov Liquidation pulled all 2.5 and 5 ton trucks.

It is not that the people who make the decisions are stupid......it is that they are from an entirely different strata......they possibly have no idea and not a care that some people collect old military trucks or that old military trucks can have a second life and become an offroad firefighter........
