My very first design had the spare on the tongue side, if it weren't for this VERY short yoke that would have worked out but unfortunately I would have had interference between the spare on the Pinz and the spare on the trailer. I thought about putting the tire under the tent but jumped to the swing...

Mounting under the trailer would certainly add a lot of stability but at the cost of trail clearance :(

I am now sold on the idea of a wheel adapter, and just get double use on my Pinz spare.

Found it, on page 10, W940. Any alternative filter should support similar or better flow rate, and BAR value on the by=pass valve. The only things I'd worry about are Flow resistance, Bars force to open the internal
bypass valve, and the effective filter area. I did find Spec's on the Mann filter w.r.t
the above at one point in time but then lost it :cry:

I have had an annoying engine oil leak on the push-rod flange of cylinder #3 for nearly one year. Not major but given 30 to 60 miles on the HWY I would see a leak under the truck about diameter of a silver dollar. Ya! After changing the front springs with new 2 dot springs and still have a problem
I'm now focused on the rear springs as a possible player in this. That is if they are weak
and on grade maybe more weight transfers up front.

Those are the front springs on your Pinz right -- which are indeed 9 turns each.
I'm on the trail end of this problem e.g. the rear double springs.

Counted again, just under 10 turns/coil. Dono if that's within
range of spec. or someone decided to take 10% off the number
of turns -- but for questionable purpose.

After new EI shocks and front springs (2 red dot strength) I still haven't fixed this damn rub problem -- Argggg... I do have wide rims and 285 tires so I'm asking for it to some degree.
