Re: Haflinger Choke Cable

Once again THANKS
I thought what I saw were rubber grommets going into a void under the heat shield but it must be the tube and just plugged up with goop and grime.
Will blast it out and see how that works
Super! and Very helpful pics!

Re: How the heck...

Was at one shop today looking for smaller head wrenches :)
Did not find anything but will check with some friends and see
It is a crazy tight fit (I have less than 1/8 of an inch to move and that is 'if' I get the wrench to grab!
Will post a victory post if I get the rubber mounts off
Thanks Steve

How the heck...

Do your remove this bracket for the front skid plate? The center bolt is simple but then there are 2 bolts behind the threads of the rubber bushings. The bracket is so small and tight that I see no way to remove the rubber bushings. Chicken and egg sort of thing. Pulling my hair out about this one a...

Reverse Switch

Where is and how does the reverse switch work to power the reverse lamp? Mine has been hardwired to a toggle switch - looked through parts diagram and can't find where the switch is or how it works so that it lights up when it goes into reverse gear. I can see something in the electrical diagram but...

Haflinger Choke Cable

So I am running a new choke cable. How the heck do I get it through the 2 tiny grommet holes from underneath into engine bay?? It would be pretty simple but between the 2 holes in the body work the section it runs through has a nice plate so cable just goes into a massive void. Going to try some sma...

Re: Offroading advice

Hard stuff and wheel spin = you’re not going up - keep it low and slow (like cookin' bbq) :) I like watching King of the Hammers and seeing guys in 500 hp J**Ps hit a rock ledge then stomp their right foot down - lots of noise, spin, smoke and bouncing - I would say less than half make it without ba...

Re: Offroading advice

On a related note, anyone have a suggestion on how to strap down the batteries? I don't have the Pinz strap on mine. Would a ratchet strap work as a temp solution? I use a velcro strap on my Hafi - no metal parts and it is all velcro so lots of holding power (Crappy Tire for $12) http://www.canadia...

Re: a little pinz fun with the AZ OHV Coordinator this weeke

I think you have good reason to ask questions like that. When I talked to Juergen his comment was that Pinz was the best 3 wheeled off-road vehicle out there... and I just saw this story (hopefully the injured lady is ok?) http://www.wfmz.com/news/Regional-Poconos-Coal/offroad-vehicle-flips-rolls-on...
