Kirby, Why do you want to register the vehicle in Ca, if you have sold it back east ? I had another potential buyer in CA. One of his concerns as other potential buyers in the past from CA - they would like to make sure before they purchase that they knew it was going to "get into CA". So...

I have searched, and read the DMV site :roll: .... and have not found a clear answer to this question. To get my 1974 712 presently in AZ and registered there, registered in CA - do I need to take the actual vehicle to the DMV ? I agree, check that breaker, had the same problem about two years ago (a couple of times after re-setting it as well). Sprayed some electrical contact cleaner in there and than followed with compressed air. No problem since than. compressed air is now part of my annual maintenance.

So far the advice is correct, I totally agree with getting seat belts for the back if you have folks back there. It would quiet the Policeman, and more important, it is safer for all involved.
