Kirby, Why do you want to register the vehicle in Ca, if you have sold it back east ? I had another potential buyer in CA. One of his concerns as other potential buyers in the past from CA - they would like to make sure before they purchase that they knew it was going to "get into CA". So...

I have searched, and read the DMV site :roll: .... and have not found a clear answer to this question. To get my 1974 712 presently in AZ and registered there, registered in CA - do I need to take the actual vehicle to the DMV ? I agree, check that breaker, had the same problem about two years ago (a couple of times after re-setting it as well). Sprayed some electrical contact cleaner in there and than followed with compressed air. No problem since than. compressed air is now part of my annual maintenance. :D

So far the advice is correct, I totally agree with getting seat belts for the back if you have folks back there. It would quiet the Policeman, and more important, it is safer for all involved.
