Don't worry about chains, I'll show you what to do with them :D
Just mapquest Big Bear for travel time est. , my guess is if you leave by 6:30 am you should be there right on time.
I suspect light traffic coming this direction :wink:

Just drill through the old stud and use an easy out, if you use a Left hand drill bit it may come right out :wink:

Sounds like a possible exhaust leak at the head(blown out manifold gasket), use a hose to listen for leaks.

Rear springs are easy, remove lower shock and limit strap bolts, then jack up rear of vehicle, remove spring centering pins from axle housing and remove springs.
Support body with jack stands under the rear bumperettes :wink:

Try turning the 4way lights on and off a few times. Sometimes the contacts get corroded. But if signal is weak, check and verify good ground.

First see if the plastic center is loose, if it is you are correct in your diagnosis 8) You may be able to temp repair with super glue and epoxy. Turn key to on, when solonoid energizes(clicks on) super glue the loose center to it's housing, retest for operation, then use epoxy to re-seal the center...

Try removing the (-) wire from the coil, and clean the contact ( corrosion will cause weak spark.
I have found this on a couple of trucks that sat :wink:

I got the springs from SAV, They also list longer spring pins, but if you have more than 2 coils touching on each end of the spring you will need springs :shock:
