Note he listed it as a 712M, it is not. It is a 712W.
Note the high vaulted roof when compared to an ambulance. You can stand up in it unless your family name is Lurch.
The box does come off via helicopter if you have one.

Re: 2.7 factory engine
For some reason I was thinking that they actually built some of the later ambulance trucks with a 2.7 stock from the factory, but that it was low numbers because it was so near the end of the gassers production. I'm probably wrong, but for some reason I'm thinking this. I read this somewhere as wel...

Re: Pinz parts suppliers in the UK - looking for 712 windscr
Actually, you'd probably be better off having them made locally. The majority of Pinzes had a single windshield and the split W/S are less than half because of the bar between them. I have the size for the one piece, but have never had a split W/S to make a pattern Not knowing the market place wher...

Re: Pinz parts suppliers in the UK - looking for 712 windscr
Any decent auto glass shop will cut what you need. The only time you generally need to order windscreens is when they are curved. ^ This is the problem. Finding a decent auto glass shop. Most of the 'technicians' here just go off a boat from the subcontinent. No proper apprenticeship trained trades...

Pinz parts suppliers in the UK - looking for 712 windscreen
Wonder if any of the chaps here could point me in the direction of a UK based supplier for the windscreen glass for a 712 (split windows)? Got a business trip to London coming up and I don't need to carry any luggage except for Pinzgauer parts. I have already contracted Shropshire - waiting for a re...

Re: EPA overreaching.
Absolutely ridiculous.
If it occurs away from open roads then EPA should STFU.
What's next, come onto a private farm/ranch and test emissions of hack vehicles?

You probably have the answer you were looking for, but a small power supply used for bicycle headlights could easily clip onto a belt or whatever : http://www.dx.com/p/water-resistant-rechargeable-8-in-1-18650-battery-pack-for-bicycle-light-black-238274#.VoTB_Pl97IU http://img.dxcdn.com/productimage...

Re: 24V System Charging Help
I have a 12V Deltran that I have used on my motorbikes for years. You can get a few extra terminals for multiple vehicles and it plugs in in about 5 seconds. So easy. I would be tempted to stay with a 12V unit and then you can apply to all your other vehicles and do the Pinz a half at a time (assumi...
