Hi Folks
Has anyone had any problems with a cracked chassis on a C303 ?
I live here in Australia and we don't grow C303 Chassis's on trees, so i was wondering if anyone had repaired / welded any cracks on a
C303 chassis ?
Cheers
Mick

Re: Volvo C303 offroad capability
If you search on one of the major sites such as Google under the Videos section for "Volvo C303" or "Volvo TGB", you will find many videos that show these vehicles' capabilities. Most are from Scandinavia/Europe and are in other languages, but that doesn't matter for what you wi...

Volvo C303 offroad capability
Hi Folks I was just wondering how capable the C303's are offroad ? I have seen a few youtube videos of 303's in "muddy" terrain, and they seem to have struggled a little. One was being recovered by a 4x4 Quad Bike !! I know it would depend on what tyres, tyre pressures, weight and the type...

Re: RHD - do they exist ??
Hi Jaster I have a RHD Model C303 and live here in Oz, i bought mine off e-bay about October 2010. I wasn't looking for one, but happen to come across it while looking for Unimogs (easier to find but more expensive) !! Mine needs a lot of work, has rust and needs lots of TLC. I was lucky that i got ...

Hi Vince Don't know about the dull knives, but i have been known to do some stupid things !!! Thanks for the help with the picture (much appreciated). It' funny you mention about the radiator (it doesn't have one - well an original Volvo one) !! It has a massive radiator with twin thermo fans that w...

Hi Guys it's great to get both views about the winches, the benefits of PTO or electric. I suppose it will come down to cost and practicality when i'm ready to get one done (it will be a while as my project vehicle needs a lot of work). i need to get it up and running first. Thanks again for the adv...

I personally wouldn't want one for recovery. They are nice for some situations but modern electric winches have all the advantages when it comes to off-roading related uses, including being far safer, stronger and more reliable. You can also run an electric winch even if your motor isn't running. T...

I was wondering if you can still get the original Volvo C303 winch mechanism and Pulley setup as a spare part ?
Also, how good is the original winch compared to the new winches ?
I already have the pto available, so i thought i would use it.
Cheers

Hi there I think i may have all the gauges i need to complete the project (which is a long way off i might add !!) so i'm not too fussed about it at the moment. The other thing i hhave to consider is that my volva has a diesel conversion, so i have to get gauges and sensors that will run off the mot...

volvo c303 Radiator
Hi folks Can anyone please post a pretty detailed photo of a radiator from a Volvo C303 ? Also showing where it is mounted on the truck. I have recently purchased a Volvo C Series and it has no radiator, also it is running a T4000 Diesel motor with 5 speed toyota gearbox, so i need to work out how b...
