It’s most likely an exhaust leak. It’s very common. Mine has the same problem. I have just been too lazy to fix it.

Wheel responsibly....

The road in question is paved! The road allows accesses to what we believe are open National Forest trails. No signage posting it as a private drive or road several houses on the road with what are obviously private driveways. But the road itself appears to be a paved public road!
