The noise you're getting is allmost certainly down to the Insa Turbos, I've run BFGs for a good few years now on both petrol and TD Pinnies and I find I get good road mileage and grip as well as being quiet, they also perform great off road. I run 285x75x16 BFG MT/s on my P93 716 I think they are the best compromise tyre for off road ability and road manners.
