Re: No brake lights or rear hazards
I have the old style exposed junction box and its coated in mud and debris.. I wasn't aware of the new style and haven't yet been successful finding it on the part drawing. Does anyone have a drawing/part number they could share please

Re: Side Steps
These are the steps I run. I definitely take them off when wheeling which helps considerably with approach angles or digging into deep snow. I definitely recommend them.TechMOGogy wrote:These are nice and can be removed with a pin when wheeling

Re: 6x6 Ford Raptor
I have a Raptor and looked into having Hennessey do some performance tuning.. I did a bunch of research on them and sadly found they have some really shitty business practices. I would avoid them at all cost...

Smaller steering wheel with power steering?
I just got my rig back from Andre, who did a bunch of work for me, including installing my power steering. All I can say is WOW! It's a completely different experience. I love it, and am looking forward to having it for snow driving later this year. I'm finding that even on the lowest setting it fee...

Re: TOP 10 best Pinzgauer modifications for improving perfor
Thanks! I am in Issaquah, WA. I do have an aftermarket ignition so interesting they chose a downstep like this. We should meet up at some point. I recommend Mule Expedition Outfitters in Issaquah for custom/fab work. They've done some work on my Pinz. I also recommend G&M Transmission and Auto ...

Pinzys for lunch...
Met up with Jim and Chris for a burger and beer. It was a great chance to see some of the work they've both done on their rigs.
Good time and good food.

Re: What would cause a portal to puke fluid?
Thanks for all the assistance in troubleshooting. Haven't been through any water crossing (aside from a couple of mostly dry creek beds with an 1" or 2" of water..).

Re: What would cause a portal to puke fluid?
Finally found a combination of search terms that are yielding some good info, sounds like my diff seal is leaking causing diff fluid to get down into the portal and displace fluid.. Not a quick fix. Looks like Mogfest is out for me. Sigh.

What would cause a portal to puke fluid?
Hey gang, I was in a parade this AM at the request of our local law enforcement agency. When I got home I put it up on the lift and started checking/topping off all fluids from front to rear in preparation for the drive down to Mogfest next weekend. When I got to the rear I turned around and noticed...

Re: 1972 Search & Rescue Pinz (*warning* picture heavy)
Maybe, but more often than not it's toe-in, not the spacers or springs. There's a thread on that how to measure and how to correct. This thread http://real4x4forums.com/PinzgauerBBS/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=9515&hilit=toe+in has the best info I've found, just haven't had a chance to do that yet...
