Re: For Sale: Pair of Front Antenna Tube Brackets
Paul C., Can you provide the inside diameter of the clamps and the base angled "cups"? I have no Pinzgauer but deploy a telescoping flagpole at various events. I secure it to the back of our Volvo TGB1314A. Depending on the dimensions of the units you have, I may be able to put them to ver...

"ONE MONTH OUT" update. The river and fields are looking great. Hazelnut trees are thriving and the nurse crop has been harvested/baled. The youngest tree on the east end of the large field have a ways to go but we trust Marvin Bernards and his crew. Marvin's family and ours have been enjo...

Re: Alternator Help
Phil, Two years ago tomorrow, I purchased P/N SE24V from Rareelctrical in Morrisville, NC. Their description on the invoice is " New alternator fits 10SI Delco 1 wire self e". I paid just under $105 USD. Outside diameter of the body is 5.5". The only stamped number on the forward hous...

Re: Alternator Help
Phil, I cannot help with your wiring issue with the original Marchall S.E.V. unit. I cannot get our local HIGHLY respected NAPA electrical shop to do anything either. Over the years, I have had my fair share of Marchall product failures. The most recent was the failure of the voltage regulator leadi...

The beauty of engaging the front axle during heavy braking is that you then have the benefit of all wheel (4x4 or 6x6) engine braking when your need it most.

Re: Northwest MogFest 2021: The Oregon Trail 2.0
Hello to all, Well...it looks like we made it. Just a bit over two months before the start of Northwest MogFest 2021. Our website is in the process of its annual update and the RSVP page should be going live very soon. We are anticipating large number so Unimogs, Pinzgauers, Haflingers, Volvo TGBs, ...

Obviously not in California. The gasoline fuel storage tubs there have to be red and be equipped with inoperable safely spouts.
Vince,
All joking aside, that is one of the most frightening photos I have ever seen.

Re: CO Intrusion in Cabin
Our AluZn TGB11 has floor drains behind the rear doors of the passenger area. That could be one source of entry from below. You are going to solve the issue of the exhaust leaks. Our latest addition to the TGB family required new mufflers and tail pipe. I chose to order parts from Tatanka Parts and ...

Great find! Did that resolve the temperature differential between the driver's and passenger side front hubs?

Re: Front Axle Drag
AppleTech, Many years ago, I took some old lines into our local NAPA and they were able to match with some new production braided steel-wrapped lines. Prefect fit. More recently, I tried the same thing and what came back were NOT correct. I now purchase all my brake components from Tatanka Parts. Th...

Rmel, Thank you! Yes! DElamination. I was a bit distracted at the time I wrote the note. Thanks for posting that article. It is very well done.
AppleTech, Externally, you will see nothing. The damage is all on the inside.
Take care...and I will be more mindful of my correct vocabulary.

Re: Front Axle Drag
Check the temperature of your brake drums. Shortly after the arrival of my brother's AluZn TGB 11 from Texas, we drive it to the DMV for the VIN inspection. While en route, I noted a lot less brake action need to slow down for stops. No unussual noises. Once at the DMV office, I checked drum temp an...

Re: Filters, parts and consumables thread.
Dustin, Have your frequent trips to the local NAPA increased the population of your cross-reference parts list recently? I have started a new project of my own trying to build a similar list. There is so much information buried in a variety of online sources, it will take time to collate it all. Tak...
