How big an issue is low temp in reality for these? Is it mainly the charging issue, or does it drop off quickly at, say, 20F and less or something?

Is 100A enough?

I think due to the commercial nature of my needs in this case, I'm going to have to go with the very pricey but probably best option.

These look like nice versions of that overall design but I'm with them. Weight and material type is a huge factor when it comes to safety and ease of handling. 40 lbs under your arm when you are on a steep 30-degree trail, with mud, loose shale, sand or boulders under your feet, becomes really tough...
